New Abilities get brought to Cleveland's SkillsUSA-VICA chapter as they Take on 5,000 students at the National Hot Rod Associations Career Opportunities Fair.

Rosa Navarette, Aubrey Cordova and Marci Cole proudly display the gum that they picked up from underneath the bleachers while cleaning up for all the students after lunch.

Cleveland SkillsUSA-VICA has spirit, do you?

What Cleveland SkillsUSA-VICA does...
With the help of Kennedy High School's SkillsUSA-VICA Chapter and Reseda High School's SkillsUSA-VICA Chapter...we all pass out 5,000+ shirts in less then an hour. Schools from all over California come to see this event, check out Job fields that they may possibly become affiliated with and watch the races.

As well as distributing T-shirts, Cleveland SkillsUSA-VICA members pass out Lunches, badges, talk on over 500 buses giving them the guidelines and rules of the days event, and clean up after them. The event for Cleveland, Kennedy and Reseda usually begins at 5:00 am and ends around 5:30 p.m.

These SkillsUSA-VICA members are dedicated to making sure things get done, and having fun at the same time.

NHRA's Event this year will be held on Wednesday November 6, 2002 and hopes to be a greater success then the past 12 to 13 years before.
